Sheila and Wayne Gross have put their money behind their convictions when it comes to renewable energy by installing a 5.1 kilowatt wind energy system.
The Stark County couple recently finished installation of a 5.1-kilowatt energy system combining a wind turbine and solar panels on their Jackson Township home.
The 5.1 kW installation was expensive, costing them $31,000 after a rebate. They estimate the 5.1 kW installation will save them up to 80 percent of their electricity bill that averages between $500 and $600 a month for their large home.
In times where renewable energy sources such as wind and solar are too often mocked as the silly pursuit of naive greenies, the Grosses have staked their own money on a new energy technology, in the form of their new 5.1 kW installation and whatever savings they harvest is their just reward. Meanwhile, they're helping create a new and green way forward.

Monetate, a "test and target company", is organizing its first ever Open Source Developer competition to promote open source development of an existing project or to provide a kickstart to a new open source idea.
As the CEO and found of Monetate explained, they have built their company on top of open source work like Python, Linux, Nginx, Memcache, HAProxy, My SQL, Django and Google Closure Library, so they feel obliged to do something to help forward open source work. The winner of the competition will receive a developer's "kick start package" worth $5,000, which will include a MacBook Pro, Apple 27 inch LED Cinema Display, iPad 2, $300 Amazon gift card, plus a month's supply of pizza and Mountain Dew. The competition is open to developers who live within 60 miles of Philadelphia only.

When you configure memcache for Dolphin 7, you should first make sure that it is really available in Tools -> Host Tools → Cache Engines. Then navigate to Settings – Advanced Settings. Here you will need to make some changes in the "Other" and "Template" area.
First open the "Other" area and scroll down until you find DB cache engine, Memcached server host, Memcached server port, Page blocks cache engine, and member menu cache engine. You will need to select "Memcache" from each of the drop downs. For Memcached server host you will need to ask your host to make sure, but commonly it is 127.0.0.1, and Memcached server port is usually 11211 by default. Next, open the "Template" area, scroll down to the Template cache engine and select "Memcache" from the drop down again. Then save changes at the bottom of the page, browse your Dolphin 7 website and refresh and revisit pages.
