Conventional c-Si modules typically include a heavy glass front design which requires extra care in handling and module installation costs increase manifold. LightSwitch Frontsheet, which is Ideal for lightweight solar module installation, is a melt processable fluoropolymer providing superior weatherability and UV resistance. These highly transparent films are tough and reliable, and provide frontsheets weighing as low as 0.1 kg/m2 that offer outstanding resistance to chemicals and weathering, low flammability, stress crack resistance, and insulating properties, and extremely easy module installation.
